Sean makes turn 2 Omnomnom again! They trade a few attacks, then both players check 2s on a fateful Haoh Raiou Ken. Tim needed a 3 to hit the check, and Sean advances

Jack wins game 1 on turn 1 going second
Let me guess, Piercing Howl was involved. Also, am I reading this right, Piercing Howl with discard vs. Piercing Howl with speed? What is the saying again 'much wow, such skill?'

What's the Elec Man look like?
Really? It has speed boost and the Air symbol.
My only question about this event is where is your Lilith + Howl deck, all of the other characters that can speed boost/discard around Howl are represented - and finishing well above average. Someone dropped the ball, your resident Lilith players are asleep at the wheel.

One of our Lilith players didn't show up, the other played Elec Man. The turn 1 kill was something like, block Aaron's piercing howl with a protect your master, Howl Howl Medley Medley from the two foundations he had
Aaron's deck had a weapon subtheme and Sovereigns Glory as the big kill card. Tim asked him to post his list so hopefully you'll see all the details soon

So Aaron attacked with Piercing Howl turn 1 with no foundations, that's how important it is for it to hit.
Then I see, Howl, Howl - heheheheh I can still play two more attacks because Piercing Howl is a waste of cardboard, not only that I can pump those attacks - all of this because my 6hs opponent didn't draw and/or pass multiple high blocks - mwhahahaha.
Oh sorry, just reading Jack's mind for a second there.
Let's quickly compare to any other attack that discards on hit or doesn't count towards progressive (we won't even take into account the free damage and damage reduce and momentum, sigh) and its painfully obvious Aaron simply lost a coin flip - Jack passed a block check for a game winning attack turn 1 and Aaron didn't have any more high blocks what with a 6hs.
No problems with that. Next time I'll roll up and deal them cards, whoever yells blackjack first wins the UFS game.

I'm glad you're still having the aneurism we joked that you would have if you had been watching. In truth despite all the howls that landed in either direction the match was still close - I think Jack made a couple mistakes, and also played a very small number of low blocks in his fragile 7hs deck, and despite them he was still close to winning game 3 while eating a pair of howls on turn 1

It's fine, if you honestly don't see a problem with what Howl does to the game of UFS I'm done wasting my time explaining it to you.
How I see UFS is as a game of skill punctuated by managed risk, a card that does as much as Howl does to skew that (as evidenced ad nauseam) does not positively contribute to what UFS should be.

Meanies, don't shove me aside, you are all almost losing to a guy with the last name Lindo :) haha I jest, but seriously that's an awesome name, I'd marry him to gain it!
Interesting stats, I wish more of you travelled more.
