View Full Version : The Curse Broken

So, I was reading over some legacy cards looking to build a deck. I noticed there is some different wording on the negation of abilities and effects. I am now wondering if certain things even trigger The Curse Broken. I know that if you use Lost Memories to negate an enhance you can then respond with The Curse Broken to commit something down in their staging area. Simple enough. But reading The Curse Broken it says 'After your E or R ability is negated or canceled.' Lost Memories cancels the ability, what about other cards like Pieces of Eight or No Memories though, they say just to cancel the effects of the ability, and not the ability itself. What about Destiny vs BRT, Destiny cancels the effects, not the ability itself..would The Curse Broken trigger in any of these situations?

Canceling an ability's effects is more or less the same thing as canceling an ability. All you're doing here is highlighting inconsistencies in wording. ^^;
