Howdy, quick question here.

How are nationals usually scheduled? What time of year, and how many times a year (specifically on the west coast). What is a PTC? Will jasco post news about the dates of upcoming tournaments?

Just curious!
Thanks all

Usually the weekend or two after after the Super Bowl in Las Vegas. 1 time a year.

What is a PTC?

Pro Tour Circuit. Winner gets a plane ticket and first round bye at their choice of Nats or Worlds. The tournaments are held by independent tournament organizers with approval from Jasco Games.

Will Jasco post news about the dates of upcoming tournaments?

Yes. http://organizedplay.jascogames.com/UFS/SpecialEvents.aspx

Ah okay, thanks a bunch! What is the difference between nationals and worlds (other than location and time of year)? Sorry for the potentially mind-numbing questions archduke ^^

Nationals is held in multiple countries, there is only one Worlds. Worlds is also held at the Gencon convention while Nats is a stand alone event.
